FINALLY out of the swamp

I have another two day holiday. It's quite nice to have a little break. I worked 6 days in a row before the holiday because the data collection was just SO GOOD.

I have some INCREDIBLE video footage now that the bonobos are FINALLY out of the swamp. It's hot and dry so they are often on the ground resting where it's cooler. Perfect for filming. I will have to show you some of the best clips when I get back. You wouldn't believe how close the bonobos allow me to get, and sometimes they will just walk up and sit right in front of me. I only have one month left, and I think it's going to be a good one.
