Salutations, (as I shall henceforth begin my correspondences having become increasingly mature by another year)
What I really wanted to say was thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I had a wonderful day. Kame Kake and P-Group were both lost, so I stayed home with Nahoko (Tokuyama) and made bagels from the recipe that you sent. It was without a doubt the best bread I have ever made-perfectly soft and cooked all the way through. I would recommend it. We watched a few tv episodes, I finished Sherlock Holmes, did a couple of crosswords, and generally relaxed.
