Finally- bonobo photos!

Here's a picture of Sala and Seko cuddling, and Natsuko sleeping.

My week has been good. I think Kame Kake are giving me a welcome tour of their entire range since they are now about an hour and a half North of their usual hang out spot. They're out of the poto poto and eating a lot of Bokila. Nkoy Isoluka, the botanist, said that since there aren't so many monkeys in the North forest, there is still a lot of bokila and batofe fruit left for the bonobos. Otherwise they hang out in the swamp eating bosenge fruit. I'm interested to see what the dry season will bring in terms of their feeding and travelling habits.
