06:30-11:00 bus to Monteverde. I'm staying in Santa Elena. Spent the early afternoon in an alternative Libreria/Cafe then went for a walk. I found an art gallery and workshop and the sculptor showed me what he was doing. I'm going to go back for a lesson tomorrow morning. Went for a walk through town and along to the park, but not into the forest. On one of the quieter gravel paths I saw:
Blue-crowned Motmot
Emerald Toucanet
I can't believe how well the photos turned out. They were nice and calm! Hopefully I'll see more cool birds tomorrow.
