The weather was crazy today; alternating sunshine and downpours every ten minutes this morning until setting in as torrential rain all afternoon. I walked the trails, and followed some spider monkeys for a while. It's good to get out again and see them. They were eating fruit from a tree that everyone told me they ate, but I hadn't seen yet. So that was neat. We had to go into Tortuguero this afternoon, and the boat ride was so rainy - I don't know if I'll ever be dry again.
No animal of the day, because I couldn't take my camera into the rain. But I saw a lot of keel-billed toucans this morning, so just imagine them.
