Day 6

Research Log

Started at 06:00 again. Only found one group of Spider monkeys today. Hopefully I'll find more tomorrow. It was incredibly hot today, so the priority was to keep hydrated. Cooled off at the end of the day with an helado and a dip in the ocean.

EDIT: Went for a snake walk tonight with another researcher. We didn't find any snakes, but we saw plenty of spiders and frogs.

Animal of the Day

Green kingfisher - Chloroceryle americana

This one flew into the dorms and had to be caught and freed. In spanish it is called "martin pescador".
