Research Log
Started the day at 06:00 again, despite the rain. Followed Howlers for a while, then surveyed the Raphia trail. It was badly flooded. There were short breaks in the weather about midday, but the rain was persistent. After work, at 16:00, Erica and I went into San Francisco for a women's soccer game. Sunshine. We joined the local women, and played against a neighbouring town. The game ended in a tie. Rode bicycles and kayaks back to the station in the rain.
Animal of the Day
Spider Monkey - Ateles geoffroyi
Ironically, I didn't see any today, but am hoping for more tomorrow. This one is eating a new shoot from a palm tree.
